Gibson 50 Year Commemorative Flying V Guitar


The second unit of the 2008’s Guitar of the Month series by Gibson confirms that the models in this line are not affordable for everyone, this second model is the Gibson 50 Year Commemorative Flying V Guitar, a very beautiful guitar that mixes elements from the original model back in the ‘58 and modern elements to make the playing experience more comfortable.


The features of the Gibson 50 Year Commemorative Flying V Guitar are mahogany body (with AA maple top) and neck, V-rounded neck profile, ebony fingerboard, 22 frets, 24.75″ scale length, Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, 2 57 Classic humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and volume and tone controls.


This guitar comes in a brimstone lacquer finish (with matching headstock) and with a hardshell case and its production run will be limited to 1,000 units. The Gibson 50 Year Commemorative Flying V Guitar will be available starting this month and its price is $2,250.
